The Wines of Croatia site and blog have introduced the beautiful wineries of Croatia to more than 8,000 people here in the United States and abroad. What was once a very little known area and wine production has blossomed into a huge industry for Croatia. The Wines of Croatia site and blog have been instrumental in bringing these wines with their local history, vineyard history, and winery owners out of the sheltered soils of Croatia to Americans and Europeans alike. I have had the pleasure of visiting a few of the vineyards and was amazed how the process runs from planting to the bottle. This site is valuable to novices as well as the seasoned connosieur.
